People Move. Networks Must Follow.®

The Aruba Networks is the leading provider of next-generation network access solutions for mobile enterprise networks.

The company's industry-leading Mobile Virtual Enterprise (MOVE) architecture unifies wired and wireless infrastructures into one seamless network access solution - for traveling business professionals, remote workers, corporate headquarters employees and guests.

With the Aruba MOVE architecture, access privileges are linked to a user's identity. That means your enterprise workforce has consistent, secure access to network resources based on who they are - no matter where they are, what devices they're using or how they're connected.

It's a unique approach that's driven by mobility and the proliferation of Wi-Fi-enabled mobile devices. These devices - which have no Ethernet port - are connecting to enterprise networks in unprecedented numbers and will quickly surpass desktop connections.

Aruba meets this challenge by eliminating the cost and complexity of managing separate wired and wireless access policies. In fact, with Aruba you'll need fewer ports and consequently less equipment in the wiring closet - effectively rightsizing your access infrastructure.

At Aruba, it's all about helping you make the right move.

Aruba 802.11n wireless LANs accelerate the performance of enterprise applications on smartphones and tablets. Why do I need 802.11n?

Today's enterprise business applications require the increased performance and reliability of 802.11n to accommodate the massive influx of smartphones and tablets. These mobile devices do not have wired Ethernet ports, and Wi-Fi is the only way to connect these devices to the enterprise network.

What's so great about 802.11n?

  • It's faster. 802.11n technology delivers up to 300 Mbps of link speed for Wi-Fi radios compared to 54 Mbps with legacy 802.11a/b/g. This means increased bandwidth for end user and enterprise business applications.

  • It supports more users. 802.11n lets users get the job done faster and at increased speeds. As a result, IT can support increased densities of enterprise wireless users with smartphones and tablets without worrying about network capacity.

  • It's more reliable. 802.11n uses multiple antennas to transmit and receive signals, while the old 802.11a/b/g uses only one to transmit and one antenna to receive. 802.11n boosts the signal quality and reliability on both ends of the Wi-Fi connection, which accelerates the performance of enterprise business applications.
