Eastern DataComm Successfully Installs New Wiring Communications Infrastructure for Nordstrom Store
Nordstrom, Inc., one of the nation’s leading fashion specialty retailers, was recently renovating its Freehold Raceway Mall location. IBEX Construction was hired by Nordstrom to complete the renovation.
The Need
Since the store renovation was to be completed in stages while shoppers were present, IBEX Construction wanted Eastern DataComm to provide a solution that was seamless and transparent to Nordstrom customers. Eastern DataComm was contracted by IBEX Construction to install a custom-built wiring communications infrastructure used for both voice and data (for all cash register kiosks) throughout the entire store. IBEX Construction had used several other vendors to accomplish this type of work for them in the past, however, the workmanship of these other companies proved problematic.
The Result
IBEX Construction reported that Eastern DataComm’s installation was the best they’ve ever seen in terms of quality, workmanship, neatness, and overall cooperation with their customer, Nordstrom, Inc. Importantly, Eastern DataComm completed the job within the given time frame and on budget.
