Hackensack, NJ, January 13, 2009 - Eastern DataComm, an industry leader in full service business communications, recently received DPMC Classification to install communications systems including phone and other equipment based solutions for New Jersey State agencies, school districts, and municipalities. The classification was given by the NJ Division of Property Management & Construction (DPM&C) who must verify a firm’s qualifications before it can compete for projects by such criteria as its financial ability, responsibility, plant and equipment, organization, ownership, relationships and prior experience. This classification opens the door for State agencies to work with Eastern DataComm to obtain their communications systems and services throughout the state. It also streamlines the process allowing Eastern DataComm to offer more competitive pricing and lower installation costs to school districts, municipalities, or other State agencies.
“Our classification in the State of New Jersey will help lower costs for deploying reliable voice, data, and video networking solutions for NJ schools and municipalities,” said Al Harnisch, President of Eastern DataComm. “This is a win-win situation for us and the public entities we serve within New Jersey. It allows us to provide better pricing so that we can be more competitive in delivering superior solutions, such as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone systems and Video over IP networking applications.”
